With TerraCycle's Zero Waste Boxes, you can collect your hard-to-recycle materials, and ship it to them (for free!) to TerraCycle to have them safely and sustainably recycled into something awesome. With the Books and Magazines Zero Waste Box, you can recycle used notebooks, books, textbooks, jotters, and other bound paper supplies that would otherwise be headed to the landfills!
Recycling is the process of taking an otherwise-discarded item or material and cleaning, sorting, and breaking it down into its basic form (such as fibers or pellets). This material is then used to produce new items. Recycling keeps useful materials from being discarded in landfills, prevents resource extraction due to the creation of new materials, and provides a new life for used items. Recycling can utilize both pre-consumer waste (materials left over from production) or post-consumer materials (used clothing, empty water bottles, etc).

This product contains recyclable materials. It may be recyclable with curbside recycling collections, but might need to be sent to a special recycling facility. Contact your local waste-hauler or recycling facility for details. Appropriate facilities may not exist in your area.

Packaging
- In order to protect the box during shipment, your TerraCycle box will be wrapped in a plastic bag. When you receive your box, just put the plastic bag inside and TerraCycle will ensure it gets recycled properly!

- Unaccepted waste: eBook readers, or other electronic devices used to facilitate reading on an electronic platform, or household hazardous waste such as lithium ion batteries, pressurized canisters, pesticides, paint or medical sharps

Specifications
- How it Works: Choose your size and type of Zero Waste Box. When you receive your box, fill it with the corresponding waste streams. Once full, ship your box back to TerraCycle (for free!) using the pre-paid shipping label which will already be on your box. When they receive your box, they'll safely recycle all of the collected materials!
